Privacy policy
In the website demo, Excel and CSV files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to a BuyPlan server.
Information processed
The application reads the inventory file you choose, including product, supplier, quantity, sales, cost and order-constraint data, to calculate a purchase recommendation.
Storage in the website demo
After you upload a file, a draft is stored in the current browser and device for up to seven days. You can delete it at any time with the Clear button. The demo does not retain a complete business history.
Fit-check and pilot requests
When you submit an inquiry, BuyPlan stores your name, email address, business type and the details you enter so we can reply, assess fit and manage the pilot. Do not include sensitive or inventory data in the form. You may request correction or deletion of the inquiry by email.
Storage in the desktop system
In the installed system, the primary database and history stay in a local database on the customer’s computer. The customer can select a manual and daily backup destination and remains responsible for access permissions and a valid backup copy.
Mobile app and synchronization
After deliberate pairing with a one-time code, inventory, orders, receipts, counts and activity events synchronize to BuyPlan cloud services to enable phone operations. Discrepancy photos are retained in protected file storage. The phone also keeps a local cache and an offline action queue.
Identity, transfer and sharing
Mobile access relies on the authenticated user identity, and data is isolated by account. BuyPlan does not sell business data. The hosting infrastructure processes and stores information only to operate the service; exports and reports are generated when you request them.
Data security
Do not upload personal information, unnecessary trade secrets or payment details. We recommend starting with a sample of 10–30 SKUs and reviewing the results before broader use.
Basic website usage measurement
To understand which parts are useful and improve the service, BuyPlan records basic events such as opening a page, using a calculator, running a calculation, completing an upload, downloading the application or submitting an inquiry. We retain random visitor and session identifiers, language, page path, general device type, connection country and referring source or UTM campaign marked in the link. The measurement record does not contain file contents, file names, SKUs, quantities, prices, names or email addresses. Data is retained for up to 90 days, uses no cookies and respects the browser Do Not Track setting. The first entry source is kept in sessionStorage during the visit in the same tab, so actions on later pages can be attributed. A random visitor identifier is kept in localStorage. Campaign labels may also accompany a submitted inquiry; unrelated URL parameters are not included. Measurement also respects Global Privacy Control.
BuyPlan Desktop can be used without mobile pairing. Pairing, synchronization and disconnect are controlled in Settings. Full deletion of synchronized pilot data is handled on written request.
